The New York Red Bulls kick off a three-game homestand on Saturday against D.C. United at 7:30 p.m.

Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips and Fredrik Gulbrandsen are ready for it.

ā€œIt always seems to feel easier at home,ā€ Wright-Phillips said. ā€œI know, for sure, weā€™ll get chances. Itā€™s up to us to finish them.ā€

New York is 2-3-1 on the season, with a win and a draw coming at their two games at Red Bull Arena.

ā€œItā€™s always easier to play at home,ā€ Gulbrandsen said. ā€œItā€™s going to be good for us.ā€

Head Coach Jesse Marsch said the team is hoping to build off an encouraging game against Orlando City SC.

ā€œWeā€™ll come back home and take more steps forward and collect points,ā€ Marsch said. ā€œNow weā€™ve got to build on that.ā€
