NEW YORK, N.Y. (April 28, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls and Relevent Sports announced today the club’s opponents for this summer’s International Champions Cup. The Red Bulls will take on English Premier League side Chelsea FC and Portuguese outfit FC Porto at Red Bull Arena this July.
New York will face Chelsea on Wednesday, July 22, and Porto on Sunday, July 26. RBA will also host a third ICC match, with French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain taking on ACF Fiorentina from Serie A, Italy’s top league on Tuesday, July 21.
2015 Red Bulls Season Ticket Holders will enjoy the Red Bulls vs. Porto game as part of their Season Ticket Package. The matches bring three 2015 UEFA Champions League opponents to Red Bull Arena in Chelsea, Porto and PSG. The Red Bulls are one of three Major League Soccer teams invited to compete. In addition to those listed above, the tournament also includes storied European clubs FC Barcelona and Manchester United. The LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes will represent MLS alongside New York.

The New York Red Bulls are one of 20 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). They are one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its founding in 1996. They currently play their home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. RBA, a state-of-the-art 25,000-seat stadium, is widely regarded as the top soccer-specific stadium in North America.
