HARRISON, N.J. (January 29, 2016) – The New York Red Bulls have re-signed goalkeeper Kyle Reynish, and signed Homegrown Player Connor Lade to a new multi-year deal, the club announced today.

  • TICKETS: Red Bulls Home Opener vs. Toronto FC, Sunday March 6

Per club policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The Red Bulls re-sign Reynish, whose option was not picked up at the end of last season. The Valencia, Calif., native was acquired by New York ahead of the 2015 season in a trade with the Chicago Fire. The veteran did not appear in MLS play in 2015 as a backup to Luis Robles. Reynish spent the 2014 season with the Fire after earning the 2013 NASL Golden Gloves award for a standout season with the New York Cosmos.

Prior to the Cosmos, Reynish spent six years with Real Salt Lake after being drafted in 2007.

Lade signed as a Homegrown Player in December of 2011, and has appeared in 55 MLS matches over the last three seasons, the most of any Homegrown Player in club history. He made 18 appearances in 2015 and contributed a game-winning assist in an October win over Columbus Crew SC.

The Livingston, N.J., native is currently the Red Bulls’ second-longest tenured player, behind only Dax McCarty.

The New York Red Bulls are currently in Orlando, Fla., for preseason camp. The 2016 MLS season opens on Sunday, March 6, when the New York Red Bulls host Toronto FC at 1:30 p.m.
