HARRISON, N.J. (April 7, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls (2-2-1, 7 pts) wrap up their two-match road trip on Sunday as they take on Orlando City SC Lions (2-1-0, 6 pts) at Orlando City Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m. ET, with coverage on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio.

New York will be featured on ESPN for the first time in 2017 and will have four other matches broadcast on ESPN this season. Adrian Healey will take on the play-by-play duties with Taylor Twellman as the analyst and Julie Stewart-Binks on the sideline for Sunday’s match.

New York Red Bulls Radio gets underway with Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon, at 3:30 p.m. ET. Harmon will call the game in English while Ernesto Motta provides Spanish play-by-play.

The Red Bulls have found success when they play against the Lions, owning a 3-1-1 overall mark and 1-0-1 when facing Orlando in Florida. New York has outscored Orlando, 10-8, and have tallied two clean sheets. Bradley Wright-Phillips helped New York go 2-0-1 against Orlando last season, as the forward had a hand in four of the six Red Bull goals. Wright-Phillips scored twice in New York’s 3-2 win in April, tallied a goal in the 1-1 tie in May and recorded an assist in the 2-0 win in July.

New York recorded its 1,000th career goal on Saturday against Houston when
Wright-Phillips scored his second goal of the season in the 13th minute. New York became just the third club in MLS history to reach the milestone, joining the LA Galaxy and D.C. United. The Red Bulls achieved the feat in their 667th game as a club. Not only did the Red Bulls record 1,000 goals, they joined the 1,000-1,000 club. Along with the LA Galaxy and D.C. United, New York also became the third team in MLS history to record 1,000 goals and 1,000 assists.

Following his assist on Wright-Phillips’ goal against Houston, Sacha Kljestan moved into a three-way tie for second on the club’s all-time list with 36. Kljestan joined Amado Guevara and Tab Ramos for second-most in franchise history and now only trails Thierry Henry (42) for the club lead.

Despite the 4-1 loss against Houston, Luis Robles played well in net as he recorded a season-best six saves. Robles has tallied at least one save in all six matches this season and raised his career total to 425, which is 17 away from tying Tim Howard for second all-time in club history.

After Orlando, New York returns to Red Bull Arena for three consecutive matches, beginning with rival D.C. United on Saturday, April 15. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on MSG. The match will also be carried on Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish.
