NYRB II are coming off a 5-3 defeat to Atlanta United 2 on Wednesday night. NYRB II defender recorded his first professional goal, while Dantouma Toure and Jake Lacava each added a goal apiece in the loss.
The last time these two sides met, NYRB II defeated Philadelphia Union II, 6-0, on September 9 at MSU Soccer Park. NYRB II forward Omar Sowe recorded his first professional hat trick, while Wallis Lapsley earned his first professional shutout.
Philadelphia Union II are currently fifth in Group F and are eliminated from playoff contention. They are coming off a 1-1 draw against Hartford Athletic.
Following Saturday’s match, NYRB II will head back on the road to face Loudoun United FC on Wednesday, September 30.
