HARRISON, N.J. (May 13, 2022) – New York Red Bulls II (1-7-1, 4 points) will travel to face Hartford Athletic (1-6-1, 4, points) on Saturday, May 14. Kickoff from Trinity Health Stadium is set for 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN+.
The match marks the 11th all-time meeting between the sides and the ninth since the beginning of the 2020 season. New York claimed the most recent meeting, 2-0, on September 4, 2021, at MSU Soccer Park.
Red Bulls II will look to bounce back after falling to Sacramento Republic, 1-0, on May 8. Goalkeeper Giannis Nikopolidis recorded a career-high four saves in his second professional start.
Hartford earned its first victory of the season on May 7, defeating Loudoun United FC 1-0. The club recently signed Corey Hertzog, a striker who ranks second in league history with 73 regular season goals.
