HARRISION, N.J. (April 28, 2025) – New York Red Bulls II have acquired Panamanian forward Mijahir Jiménez on a one-year loan from CD Plaza Amador through the 2025 season with an option to extend loan, pending visa and registration approval, the club announced today.
“We are looking forward to having (Mijahir) Jimenez on the team” say Head Coach Ibrahim Sekagya “He is a strong young striker who will add physicality to our front line.”
The 18-year-old forward has made 24 appearances with CD Plaza Amador in Liga Panamena. His first career professional goal was an 85th game winner in a 2-1 win over Veraguas United FC on March 11, 2024. Jimenez is the youngest striker to debut for CD Plaza Amador, making his first appearance on January 28, 2024, at 16 years 306 days old against Sporting San Miguelito.
