Steven Sserwadda Logs 35 Minutes for Uganda in First AFCON Qualifier

New York Red Bulls II midfielder Steven Sserwadda came on as a second half substitute for the Ugandan National Team in its 2023 AFCON Qualifier against Algeria on June 4, playing 35 minutes.

The match marked Sserwadda’s third career appearance with the senior team. In three matches, he has logged 120 minutes, including a start on March 29.

Uganda will continue its AFCON Qualifying on Wednesday, June 8, as it hosts Niger at 9:00 a.m. ET.
