On a record-setting night that saw 72,317 fans in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the MLS All-Stars fell in penalty kicks to reigning Serie A champion Juventus in Atlanta.

The New York Red Bulls were well represented in tonight's Starting XI, which featured three -- Tyler Adams, Aaron Long, Michael Amir Murillo -- of the four that were selected. It was a great showing by the Red Bulls, which for Murillo is a credit the Red Bulls coaching staff for the job they've done with each of his teammates in preparing them for this moment.

"Really good, because that speaks on the job the coaches of the Red Bulls have done, and every one of my teammates who were able to start tonight’s game," Murillo said.

Adams who started in the defensive midfield, spoke about how tonight's match was an unbelievable experience.

"It was an unbelievable experience, especially going up against a quality side like Juventus," Adams said. "To step on the field with other guys that deserve to be here, it's a really, really cool opportunity, especially being a young player."

Long got the start at center back, and touched on the the brand of football that was played tonight against Juventus, which he feels was a great show for the fans.

"It was an amazing feeling," Long said. "It was a little bit surreal. Five minutes into the game, when everything settled down, you could see their quality. We played a good brand of football, we played smart, we moved the ball well, we created chances. A good game for the fans, for sure."

Bradley Wright-Phillips entered as a sub in the 62nd minute for Long, talked about how well his Red Bull teammates played tonight.

"They all played really well," Wright-Phillips said. "Aaron almost scored. Tyler was unhappy, he wanted to play the whole 90, but he did well. Murillo, again, just like he plays week in and week out for us. They all did well. They were some of the better players out there."

Even though the MLS All-Star team lost, Long believes the league should be proud with the team performance tonight.

"I think that we played a really good brand of football," Long said. "We created a lot of chances. I think the league will be really proud of how we did. We tied them in regulation, and that's a great squad. I think the league will be proud of how we played today, for sure."
