With the current 2020 MLS season on pause, the New York Red Bulls’ coaches, staff and players have no choice but to train from home. This will be a time for them to try new things, but to also stay active and ready for when everything returns to normalcy.
Center-back Amro Tarek shared with us what he has been up to in recent weeks:
What are you doing with the time available?
"Since we have a lot of free time, I’m learning how to cook. Actually, I’m cooking every day. I’m reading a book -- A Hebrew Girl in My Heart by Khawla Hamdi -- and watching Netflix, that’s mainly what I’m doing."
What are you specifically working on?
"We try to stay in shape. We receive every day a schedule from Tony [Jouaux] to do our workout at home, and also we have video online sessions that include the whole team together."
Message to the supporters:
"My message to all Red Bull fans, stay home guys! They’re hard times for everyone. We have to be strong, we have to be responsible, and I hope we get through these hard times as soon as possible, so we can get back to the field with you guys."
