Eight matches in on Day 1 and Mike LaBelle is 3-3-2 at the end of the first day of competition in the inaugural eMLS Cup.

"Every single game is tight," LaBelle said after the first day of games. "I think we're doing pretty well. We're going to get back to it tomorrow."

He posted beat Orlando City SC's "FIFA Abe" 2-0 and drew 1-1 in a two-leg matchup, while losing 2-0 and winning 2-1 against LylesMTL from Montreal Impact.
LaBelle and Philadelphia Union's Doolsta split matches, with LaBelle falling 2-1 in Leg 1 and winning Leg 2, 4-3. LaBelle fell 4-0 to SKAMZZ1992 from Columbus Crew SC and later drew 3-3 with the Crew eMLS player.
"The quality of player here is outstanding," LaBelle said. "I would think top four, 22 points, which would be excellent. It's been tight, it's been stressful, and energetic. It all comes down to these big moments."
LaBelle has 11 points through the eight matches, with 13 goals for and 16 goals against.
LaBelle needs to finish in one of the top eight spots of the Eastern Conference to advance to the playoffs on Day 3.
"Everybody in the East, everyone has a lot of competitive history," LaBelle said. "Really impressed with the group."
