Section 101 was sold out in our first home game since our home opener on March 1st. Empire Support Club decided to sell scarves and hang them in Section 101, and all the proceeds went to the AIDS Resource Foundation For Children.
On the one hand, Empire SC was able to raise money for a foundation, and on the other, their actions allowed for the South Ward to have a special aura. There was a supporters’ presence even if the New York Derby was played behind closed doors.
Kyle Duncan scored the only goal of the night in the end where the South Ward stands, giving it a more memorable feel to the special evening, in which Section 101 was filled with scarves, representing each and everyone of our supporters.
