Baah underwent surgery on July 12, 2016, to repair the fracture.
The Accra, Ghana, native was signed by the Red Bulls ahead of the 2016 season. Baah joined New York from HJK Helsinki in the Finnish league. He made nine MLS appearances in 2016, including six starts, and scored two goals.
