Midfielder Marc Rzatkowski returns to the Starting XI, as Jesse Marsch prepares his club to take on the Chicago Fire at 3:30 p.m. ET at Red Bull Arena.
New York has secured all nine potential points in the first three matches of league play. The Red Bulls have outscored their opponents, 10-1, and have not trailed for one second in the first 360 minutes at home. New York continues to support the best home record in MLS since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010, owning the most home wins (87) and points (291).
Rzatkowski will be paired with Tyler Adams in the midfield, with Kaku taking the role of the No. 10.
As part the Autism Awareness match, the Red Bulls will welcome families impacted by autism to Red Bull Arena and donate $3.00 of every Autism Awareness ticket purchased to Autism Speaks.
Bradley Wright-Phillips will start at forward for New York, while Florian Valot and Daniel Royer on the wings.
Even though Wright-Phillips leads the team in both goals (7) and assists (5) across all competitions, he has had plenty of help from the rest of the team. There have been 13 different goal scorers to account for New York’s 21 goals. Fourteen different players have recorded at least one assist in 2018.
When Wright-Phillips records at least a goal and an assist in a game in league play or MLS playoffs, New York is 9-0-1 all-time.
The defensive line will see the quartet of Kemar Lawrence, Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Michael Amir Murillo ahead of goalkeeper and captain Luis Robles.
New York will have Vincent Bezecourt, Aurelien Collin, Sean Davis, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Ben Mines and Alex Muyl off the bench. Ryan Meara will serve as the backup goalkeeper.
Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. ET with coverage on Univision, UDN, ESPN+ and Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn. New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 3 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon alongside Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will have the Spanish play-by-play call for the New York Red Bulls Radio and will be live at 3:30 p.m.
