The New York Red Bulls (4-1-5, 17 pts.) travel to Florida to face off against Eastern Conference leaders Inter Miami CF (6-2-3, 21 pts.) at Chase Stadium on Saturday, May 4.
Here are the Keys to the Game, presented by Toyota:
Miami Nights
The Red Bulls travel down to South Florida to an Inter Miami side with revenge on their mind. The Red Bulls blitzed IMCF in a 4-0 victory at Red Bull Arena earlier this season.
Miami come into the match leading the league in goals with 26, and are also unbeaten in their past five regular season matches (three wins, two draws).
Mor-Again
Lewis Morgan scored in New York’s most recent match, up to seven on the season. He is tied for fourth in MLS with his goal total. Three of those goals came against Miami last time the two sides faced off.
Morgan will make his 100th start in MLS in his return to Miami, where he played from 2020 to 2021, and takes on MLS’ leading goalscorer in Lionel Messi, who has nine on the year.
Four for Forsberg
Emil Forsberg has four goal contributions in his last six MLS matches, with two goals and two assists.
Forsberg was away on International Duty the first time these two sides met up. He’ll get his first crack at Miami on Saturday night.
