RBNY on a Four-Game Unbeaten Streak
After their 4-0 away win against Inter Miami CF, the Red Bulls have grabbed two draws and one win.
The 1-1 result against Philly left the team wanting more.
“The result, in the end, makes me a little bit unhappy, and I think today we played in a good direction,” said Head Coach Gerhard Struber after Wednesday’s match. “Especially in the second half, we have so much control; and it was in the first half only in set pieces they have some moments that are not so easy to handle for us.”
The Red Bulls head to Cincy with unfinished business and are eyeing on getting their third straight away win.
RBNY Have Third Best Defense in the East
In the month of September, New York conceded five goals in six games.
Although Kyle Duncan won’t be available in Cincy due to yellow card accumulation, the Red Bulls still count with multiple defensive options to cover his absence.
In their last match against Cincy, the Red Bulls ended with a scoreless draw.
So far this season, New York have picked up eight shutouts.
In September, Cincy Lost Five of Six Matches
FC Cincy are currently last place in the Eastern Conference.
In September, they lost five games, in which they conceded 14 goals.
They’re coming off four straight defeats.
