Sitting just past the mid-point of the 2023 MLS Season, the New York Red Bulls have an exciting lineup of events and matches through October as they make their bid for the MLS Cup Playoffs.
July 8 – Marvel Super Hero Night
July 8 is Marvel Night at Red Bull Arena. As New York takes on New England, the arena will be decked out with some favorite super-heroes, Marvel-themed memorabilia, and more. The first 7,500 fans in attendance will receive a Daniel Edelman x Star-Lord bobblehead, and limited edition Marvel x RBNY posters will be available after the match.
July 21- August 19 – Leagues Cup
Taking a brief intermission from MLS Regular Season play, all 29 MLS teams will participate in the inaugural 2023 Leagues Cup: a month-long CONCACAF tournament that combines MLS and La Liga MX teams into one exciting campaign.
The action kicks off with a group stage followed by knockout rounds, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the round of 32.
New York, in group E4, will be facing the New England Revolution on July 22 and Atlético San Luis on July 30th. Both matches will be played at Red Bull Arena.
Streaming for all Leagues Cup matches will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

August 26 – Messi Returns to Red Bull Arena with Inter Miami CF
Global soccer legend Lionel Messi will be returning to Red Bull Arena, only this time he’ll be taking the pitch as an MLS player.
Since announcing that he would be joining Inter Miami CF this summer, anticipation has built for Messi’s debut in the league.
Messi last played at Red Bull Arena in 2022 with Argentina’s Men’s National Team. On August 26, he’ll be back in Harrison as Inter Miami takes on the New York Red Bulls.
September 3-16 — From Philly to Derby
September starts with two-straight matches against the Red Bulls’ across-the-river rivals, the Philadelphia Union and NYCFC.
On Sunday, September 3, New York will make a trip across the Delaware River down to Chester, Pennsylvania to take on the Union at Subaru Park. The Red Bulls will look to avenge a 1-0 loss to Philadelphia that came earlier this season. The match will be available for free via FS1 at 7:30 PM.
Two weeks later, on September 16, New York will cross the Hudson River for the second Derby match of 2023. The match, hosted at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, will begin at 3:30PM.
The Red Bulls claimed a 1-0 win over rival NYCFC in May and will look to complete a season sweep for the first time since 2015.
September 20 — Noche Latina
Noche Latina, a night celebrating Latino culture and heritage through soccer, music, dancing, food and outreach to our surrounding communities, will be held at Red Bull Arena on September 20
Latin music and dance will be highlighted throughout the evening as NJSalsa will be in attendance to do free bachata and salsa classes. Local performing artist Isabella Serafini will also be at the match to perform the National Anthem.
The Red Bulls will host Austin FC for the second all-time matchup between clubs. New York won the first contest a season ago in Austin, 4-3, and will look to continue that streak this year in Harrison.

October 7 — Fan Appreciation Night
October 7 will be Fan Appreciation Night, an evening of celebrating and thanking fans for their dedication to the club. The night will feature a scarf giveaway, and the red carpet will be out for everyone to enjoy! Fans and supporters will have the chance to watch their favorite players walk up to Red Bull Arena at 6:00 pm.
Toronto FC will be coming to town for New York’s last regular season home match of 2023. The Red Bulls will look to stay unbeaten against the Reds this season and end their 2023 home campaign on a high note.
The final matchday of the MLS regular season is October 21, with New York heading to Nashville to end its 2023 campaign. The Red Bulls have plenty of time to earn themselves a playoff berth, especially in the tight Eastern Conference.
Looking ahead to the second half of the season, it is shaping up to be one you won’t want to miss.
