After an off weekend, the New York Red Bulls are back in action on Friday, April 1, with a match at the New England Revolution at 7 p.m. New York will look to get its second-straight victory against a winless Revolution side at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
Coverage can be seen nationwide on UniMas, with an English version of the broadcast available via the SAP function.
The Red Bulls will also provide English and Spanish radio on Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn. Coverage on the English station begins at 6:30 p.m. with Matt Harmon hosting Countdown to Kickoff. Harmon will call the action beginning at 7 p.m. with former MetroStar and Red Bull Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will provide Spanish play-by-play beginning at 7 p.m.
New York earned its first win of the season in its last outing, a 4-3 victory over the Houston Dynamo on March 19 at Red Bull Arena. New York overcame 2-1 and 3-2 deficits, with game-tying and game-winning goals from Felipe in the final 15 minutes.
Sacha Kljestan got the first goal in the win over Houston, and assisted on Felipe's game-tying goal. Kljestan had five multi-point games last season as he engineered the Red Bulls offense with eight goals and 14 assists.
New England is still in search of its first win of the season. The Revolution enter at 0-1-3, coming off of a draw last weekend at New York City FC. The Revolution played to a 0-0 tie in its only home game so far this season. Four different players have scored for New England, though the team only has one goal in its last three games.
It will be the 67th regular season meeting between the two rivals, with New York trailing in the series, 23-28-15. New York is just 5-20-7 in matches at New England, but 1-3-2 since the start of 2012, including a 2-0 win at Gillette Stadium in June of 2014.
New York dropped two matches at New England last season, 2-1 losses in May and September, but claimed a 4-1 victory over the Revolution in July at Red Bull Arena.
The Red Bulls return home to host Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, April 9 at Red Bull Arena (7 p.m.). It will be Autism Awareness Night at Red Bull Arena.
