The New York Red Bulls are home on Sunday, July 24 to host the third and final New York Derby of the season. Kickoff against New York City FC is scheduled for 1:01 p.m., with coverage on FOX, FOX Deportes and Red Bulls Radio.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the 1:01 p.m. kickoff. Gates open at 11 a.m., along with the Biergarten outside Gate B. The BULLevard opens at 10 a.m.
Coverage on FOX begins at 12:30 p.m. with Rob Stone and Stuart Holden on FOX's pregame show from Red Bull Arena. Red Bulls Radio goes live with Countdown to Kickoff at 12 p.m., hosted by Matt Harmon. Harmon will call the game in English with former Red Bull and MetroStar Steve Jolley, while Ernesto Motta calls the game in Spanish.
Sirius XM FC channel 85 has the Red Bulls Radio broadcast beginning at noon as well.
The Red Bulls enter at 8-9-4, coming off of a 2-2 draw with the Philadelphia Union last Sunday. The Red Bulls are unbeaten in three straight, and have earned points in eight of the last 10 MLS matches.
The Red Bulls are also undefeated in seven straight home games, and have kept shutouts in the last six matches at Red Bull Arena.
Bradley Wright-Phillips leads the Red Bulls will nine goals this season, and has scored six times in five career games against New York City FC, including a two-goal performance in the 7-0 win on May 21.
Sacha Kljestan leads all of MLS with 10 assists this season, and has six assists in five games against NYC FC. Kljestan had two assists off of set pieces, including the game-winner, in the 7-0 victory.
The Red Bulls are 4-1-0 all-time against New York City FC. The Red Bulls took all three meetings last year, including two at RBA, and claimed the first meeting of 2016 before NYC FC grabbed a 2-0 home win on July 3.
New York City FC enters with a 9-6-6 record, good for first place in the East, five points ahead of the Red Bulls. David Villa leads NYC with 13 goals.
After Sunday, the Red Bulls travel to Chicago for the second meeting of the season with the Fire on Sunday, July 31. The Red Bulls are next home to host Antigua Guatemala FC on August 3 in the opening match of the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League group stage.
