HARRISON, N.J. (August 19, 2019)- New York Red Bulls II will start a three-match road trip, when they travel to face Nashville SC on August 21, with kick-off set for 8 p.m. ET. The match can be seen live on ESPN+.
NYRB II are coming off a 2-1 loss against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on August 14. This was their fifth loss of the season and first one since June 22. NYRB II still hold first place in the Eastern Conference with a total of 47 points.
The first time these two clubs met this season, they each took a point in March at MSU Soccer Park with Brian White scoring the lone goal for NYRB II and Daniel Rios netting the one for Nashville.
Nashville SC are currently on a six-match unbeaten streak. They most recently defeated Charlotte Independence, 3-1, on the road. Rios leads the team with 17 goals on the season, he currently ranks second in the USL Championship.
Following Wednesday night’s match, NYRB II will quickly travel to Kansas City, where they will take on Swope Park Rangers on August 24, with kick-off set for 8 p.m. ET.
