HARRISON, N.J. (August 26, 2022) –The New York Red Bulls (11-8-8, 41 pts.) will end their two-match homestand with a matchup against Inter Miami CF (10-10-6, 36 pts.) on Saturday, August 27 at Red Bull Arena Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the sixth overall regular season meeting between New York and Miami, with the Red Bulls leading the overall series with a 3-2-0 mark. The Red Bulls currently sit in fourth place of the Eastern Conference and will look to extend their unbeaten streak to three matches after defeating Atlanta United FC, 2-1, on Wednesday, August 17 and tying FC Cincinnati, 1-1, on Saturday, August 20. Inter Miami CF are unbeaten in their last five MLS matches and currently sit in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.
Midfielder Lewis Morgan will play against his former team for the second time this season. Morgan has scored 14 goals across all competitions for New York this season, which leads the club. The Scottish winger has recorded 11 MLS goals, which ranks tied for 12th in MLS and third among active MLS midfielders. Morgan has scored a goal in six of his last nine matches at Red Bull Arena.
Following Saturday’s match, the Red Bulls will travel up North to battle CF Montreal on Wednesday, August 31 at Saputo Stadium.
