HARRISON, N.J. (August 12, 2021) –The New York Red Bulls (5-8-4, 19 points) travel up North to battle CF Montreal on Saturday, August 14. Kickoff at Saputo Stadium is set for 8:25 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MSG begins at 8 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7:30 p.m. EST with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 8 p.m. EST.
New York and Montreal will meet for the first time this season, and this will be the Red Bulls first match at Saputo Stadium since October 6, 2019. After suffering a 2-1 defeat to D.C. United last Sunday, Montreal is 0-4-1 in their last five matches and have not won a match since July 17, which was a 5-4 win against FC Cincinnati.
Forward Tom Barlow scored his first goal of the season against Chicago Fire FC in New York’s last match, which was the first goal scored by a substitute for the Red Bulls this season. In two career matches against Montreal, Barlow has recorded two goals in 140 minutes played.
Following Saturday’s match, New York returns to Red Bull Arena for a four-match homestand starting with Columbus Crew SC on Wednesday, August 18.
