The New York Red Bulls (0-1-2, 2 pts.) host the Columbus Crew (1-1-1, 4 pts.) on Saturday, March 18 at Red Bull Arena for Women’s Empowerment Night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

For Women’s Empowerment Night, Players and team representatives from NWSL’s Gotham FC, WNBA’s New York Liberty, and PHF (formerly NWHL)’s Metropolitan Riveters will be at the match. They will also have tables on the BULLevard from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for giveaways and offers.

Coverage on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Danny Higginbotham on the English side, while Jorge Calvo will have the play-by-play responsibilities on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.

This will be the 78th regular season meeting between New York and Columbus and the series is currently tied at a 32-32-13 mark. The Red Bulls have posted a 19-12-6 record against the Crew at Red Bull Arena, including a 2-2-1 mark in their last five matches against Columbus at home. Columbus currently rank ninth in the Eastern Conference and most recently battled Toronto FC to a 1-1 tie on Saturday, March 11.

The Red Bulls are coming off a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United FC, where defender Andrés Reyes scored New York’s first goal of the season. Reyes became the 28th different player in franchise history to score the first goal of the season for New York. The Colombian defender scored his third career MLS goal and his first since June 23, 2021 against New England Revolution. Reyes currently leads MLS in aerial duels won with 24.

Following Saturday’s match, New York heads on the road for a two-match road trip, starting with Charlotte FC on Saturday, March 25. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
