Coverage on MSG begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with the Red Bulls Pregame show. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and John Giannone.

The Red Bulls have opened their 2022 MLS regular season with back-to-back road wins for their first time in franchise history. In those two matches, New York have scored seven goals, which is the most goals scored through the club’s first two matches all-time. Since Red Bull Arena opened in 2010, the Red Bulls have posted a 9-2-2 mark in their home openers. The club has scored 22 goals in those matches, while only allowing nine. Former forwards Thierry Henry and Bradley Wright-Phillips are tied for the most goals in Red Bulls home openers with three each. New York will seek three wins in their first three matches of the season for the first time in franchise history on Sunday.
New York and Minnesota United will battle for the fourth time in the regular season. New York leads the regular season series with a 2-1 mark, while the series is tied at Red Bull Arena with Minnesota winning the last match in 2019. Minnesota United have begun their 2022 season with two-straight draws against Philadelphia Union (Feb. 26) and Nashville SC (Mar. 5).
Midfielder Lewis Morgan recorded his first professional hat trick on Saturday, March 5 against Toronto FC, which is the first hat trick for the Red Bulls since Bradley Wright-Phillips scored a hat trick against D.C. United on September 6, 2018. The Scottish winger has scored three goals and tallied one assist in his first two career matches with New York. After scoring the hat trick, Morgan has moved his career MLS goal total to 10 goals and will play in his first career match against Minnesota United on Sunday night. The Scottish winger was named the Week 2 MLS Player of the Week for his hat trick performance against Toronto FC.
