HARRISON, N.J. (July 2, 2022) –The New York Red Bulls (9-5-6, 33 pts.) host rivals New York City FC (10-4-5, 35 pts.) in the New York Derby on Sunday, July 17 at Red Bull Arena. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 4 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the 20th regular season meeting between the Red Bulls and NYCFC, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 10-6-3 mark. The Red Bulls are 4-0-1 in their last five MLS matches against NYCFC at Red Bull Arena. The last time both teams played against each other, the Red Bulls defeated NYCFC, 3-0, in the Round of 16 of the U.S. Open Cup on June 22 at Red Bull Arena. Midfielders Lewis Morgan, Luquinhas, and Bronx, N.Y. native Omir Fernandez all scored goals in the victory.

Among active Red Bulls players, he has the most goals and assists against NYCFC with two a piece, including his game-winning goal against them in the last MLS regular season match between the two clubs on October 17.
