HARRISON, N.J. (Aug. 24, 2018) –Unbeaten in their last four matches, the New York Red Bulls (15-6-4, 49 pts) host D.C. United (7-9-6, 27 pts) for the second round of the Atlantic Cup on Sunday at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on FS1, FOX Sports GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.


New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 6 p.m. ET with Honda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play broadcast, beginning at 7 p.m.




Sunday’s match between New York and D.C. United will be the second installment of the 2018 Atlantic Cup. The Red Bulls took the first match, 1-0 at Audi Field on July 25 when Bradley Wright-Phillips tallied his 100th career league goal. The Red Bulls have won five of the last eight Atlantic Cups and can win their second straight cup with a win on Sunday.


New York returns to Red Bull Arena after their longest road trip of the season at three-straight matches. New York took at least a point in all three road matches, tallying five of the possible nine points and sit second of the Eastern Conference and Supporters’ Shield standings. Overall, the Red Bulls are unbeaten over the last four games, owning a 2-0-2 mark.


The Red Bulls’ offensive one-two punch of Wright-Phillips and Daniel Royer has been strong during the last five matches. During that stretch, BWP has tallied at least a point in the last four games with two goals and two assists, while Royer has strung together a point in all five matches with five goals and two assists.
