MATCH PREVIEW, pres. by Toyota: New York Heads to Subaru Park on Saturday to Face Off Against Philadelphia Union

The New York Red Bulls (9-4-8, 34 pts.) head to Subaru Park on Saturday, July 6 to face off against Philadelphia Union (4-8-8, 20 pts.) for the first time this season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

This will be the 36th overall regular season meeting between New York and Philadelphia, the Red Bulls lead the overall series with a 14-13-8 mark. New York are currently on a four-match MLS unbeaten streak, while Philadelphia are on a seven-match winless streak, which includes a four-match losing streak. The Red Bulls will be seeking their first victory at Subaru Park since 2018. Philadelphia has posted a 1-6-3 mark at home this season, while New York has posted a 3-4-4 mark on the road.

Defender Kyle Duncan recorded his first assist of the season in New York’s 2-2 draw against D.C. United on Saturday, June 29. Duncan has registered 16 career assists across all competitions for New York, which is the most by a defender in franchise history across all competitions. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native has recorded one career assist against the Philadelphia Union.

Following Saturday’s match, New York remain on the road and head to Dicks Sporting Goods Park for the first time since 2018 to battle the Colorado Rapids on Saturday, July 13.
