HARRISON, N.J. (March 16, 2018) – The New York Red Bulls will hit the road for the first time in MLS play as they travel to face Real Salt Lake on Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET and will be broadcast regionally on MSG2 and can be heard on Red Bulls Radio on TuneIN.
Coverage of Saturday’s match on MSG2 begins at 8:30 p.m. with Honda Red Bulls Game Night. Jonathan Yardley will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.

New York continues to have strong performance after strong performance, as they are unbeaten through the first five matches (4-0-1) of 2018 across all competitions. During their unbeaten stretch, the Red Bulls are 1-0-1 on the road with a plus-2 goal differential (3 GF;1 GA).
Bradley Wright-Phillips has had a hot start to 2018 and will look to carry that into Saturday’s match. Wright-Phillips has a goal and an assist in MLS play and four goals and four assists across all competitions this season. In 140 MLS regular season matches, BWP has scored against 18 of the 21 MLS teams that he has faced, having not scored against Atlanta, LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake. If Wright-Phillips tallies a goal against Real Salt Lake, he will have the most goals over a five-year span in MLS regular-season matches with 87.
Head coach Jesse Marsch is in his fourth season with the Red Bulls and sits with an overall mark of 49-31-23 at the club. Marsch is the only coach in franchise history to start a fourth season and looks to become the first coach in franchise history to reach 50 MLS regular season wins.
New York will host Minnesota United FC on Saturday, March 24 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast regionally on MSG2.
