HARRISON, N.J. (April 4, 2019) – The New York Red Bulls (1-2-1, 4 pts) return to Red Bull Arena to host Minnesota United (2-2-0, 6 pts) on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. Coverage of Saturday’s match will be broadcast on MSG2, MSG Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.


Coverage for the New York-Minnesota match on MSG2 begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with Honda Red Bulls Game Night. Jonathan Yardley will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Shep Messing and Michelle Gingras.


New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.




Saturday’s match will feature two teams who both are on a two-match losing skid. New York and Minnesota each have lost their previous two matches by one goal. The Red Bulls have lost 1-0 in back-to-back games, while Minnesota, who started the season 2-0, lost at LA Galaxy, 3-2 and at New England, 2-1. The last time New York had lost back-to-back league matches was in May of 2017.


New York will look to remain perfect against Minnesota, having won the previous two matches, 3-0. Five of the six New York goals score against Minnesota have come from Bradley Wright-Phillips, 3, and Alex Muyl, 2. In their last matchup at RBA Muyl scored the game-winner in the 15th minute, while Wright-Phillips tallied a brace to seal the victory.


The Red Bulls return to RBA in pursuit of their 100th league win at MLS’ Fortress. New York owns the best home record in MLS, with the most home wins, 99, and points, 328, since RBA was opened in 2010. The Red Bulls have not lost consecutive home league matches since May of 2014.
