HARRISON, N.J. (July 29, 2022) –The New York Red Bulls will host FC Barcelona for a friendly on Saturday, July 30 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on Red Bull TV, MSG, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
The friendly will be available nationwide, for free, on Red Bull TV, live from Red Bull Arena on Saturday, July 30.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Stefano Fusaro will carry the Spanish play-by-play responsibilities, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
This will be the third all-time meeting for a friendly between New York and FC Barcelona. The first meeting occurred on August 12, 2006, and the second on August 6, 2008, both at Giants Stadium. The 2006 tilt marked the largest crowd for both a Red Bulls game and match involving an MLS side at the time, with an attendance of 79,002.
Following Saturday’s match, the Red Bulls will host Colorado Rapids on Tuesday, August 2 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
