HARRISON, N.J. (August 31, 2017) –  The New York Red Bulls (12-10-3) head to Texas for the second time this season, facing FC Dallas (9-7-9) on Saturday at Toyota Stadium. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET with coverage on UniMas, Univision Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn in English.


Saturday’s match will be broadcast on UniMas as Raul Guzman and Diego Balado will have the call and Ramses Sandoval and Pavel Pardo on SAP. The match can also be viewed on Univision Deportes’ Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/UnivisionDeportes/).

The Red Bulls will arguably have their toughest month of the season, facing seven opponents in a span of 28 days, five of which will be on the road. Of the seven matches, five games will be played against Eastern Conference foes, including Columbus Crew SC and Chicago Fire. New York sits just two points back of the Fire and have a game in hand against and three points back of Crew SC and have three games in hand.


New York implemented a new formation since their loss to NYCFC, 2-0 on June 24. The Red Bulls have gone to a 3-6-1 formation and are 5-2-1 in MLS play and 7-2-1 across all competition, outscoring their opponents, 21-10.


Luis Robles has played some of his best soccer of his career against FC Dallas. In four matches, Robles has not allowed a goal and has tallied 11 saves. The New York netminder has also recorded one of his six career penalty kick saves against Dallas.


In recent form, the Red Bulls have found success on the road against FC Dallas, owning a 2-1-2 mark over the last five matches. Over that stretch, New York has outscored Dallas, 5-4, including three one-goal games.


New York wraps up its two-match road trip against the Chicago Fire on Saturday, September 9 and return home to Red Bull Arena on September 17 against Philadelphia on ESPN. Kickoff against the Fire is set for 4 p.m. ET with coverage on UniMas and New York Red Bulls Radio.
