MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: John Tolkin’s First MLS Goal Gives RBNY Win over the Crew

The New York Red Bulls returned to their winning ways after defeating Columbus Crew 1-0 on Wednesday night.

John Tolkin scored his first goal in MLS to give the Red Bulls the 1-0 lead. In the play Fábio got his seventh assist of the season.

Goalkeeper Carlos Coronel made four saves to capture his seventh clean sheet of the season.

Head Coach Gerhard Struber made five substitutions, which included Caden Clark for Wiki Carmona, Frankie Amaya for Andrés Reyes, Tom Barlow for Patryk Klimala, Danny Royer for Fábio and Manny Egbo for Amro Tarek.

The Red Bulls return to Red Bull Arena this Saturday to host NYCFC.
