MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: RBNY Grabs Important 4-0 Away Win

The New York Red Bulls defeated Inter Miami CF 4-0 on Friday night to close out their two-game road trip. Fábio led the night with a brace.

Patryk Klimala scored his seventh goal of the season to give the Red Bulls the early 1-0 lead, while Omir Fernandez netted his first goal of the season to build New York’s lead to 2-0.

In the first half, New York took 16 shots, six of them on goal.

New York’s first substitutions saw Wiki Carmona, Tom Edwards and Dru Yearwood give their places on the field to Cristian Cásseres Jr., Andrew Gutman and Kyle Duncan.

Fábio added a third and a fourth for the Red Bulls to wrap the game 4-0.

Tom Barlow took the field for Klimala. The Red Bulls last substitution saw Cam Harper take the field for Fernandez.

The Red Bulls return home to meet NYCFC at Red Bull Arena on Wednesday.
