The New York Red Bulls dropped a 3-1 decision to Orlando City SC on Saturday.
Early on in the match, Brian White saw one of his attempts just off the mark.
In the 24th minute, Orlando City took the lead off a Daryl Dike header.
Minutes later, David Jensen made a great save to prevent Orlando City from taking the 2-0 lead.
Five minutes into the second half Júnior Urso extended Orlando’s lead 2-0.
In the 54th minute, New York Red Bulls midfielder Florian Valot found the first goal of the match for the club, which brought them within one. It was his second goal of the season.
New York earned a free kick in the 79th minute at the top box and both Marc Rzatowksi and Brian White had shots on goal in the combination that were saved.
In second half stoppage time, Orlando extended their lead from a Antonio Carlos goal.
The five substitutions made in the match were Jared Stroud, Marc Rzatkowski, Omir Fernandez, Dru Yearwood, and Samuel Tetteh taking the place of Mandela Egbo, Kaku, Daniel Royer, Cristian Cásseres, Jr., and Brian White.
