MSG Networks Announces 2020 New York Red Bulls Telecast Schedule

HARRISON, N.J. (February 25, 2020) – MSG Networks and Major League Soccer’s New York Red Bulls have unveiled the official telecast schedule for the 2020 season, which marks the 25th season of Major League Soccer and the Red Bulls franchise. MSG Networks will televise up to 20 of the Red Bulls’ 34 regular season matches this year.


MSG Networks, which has been the regional television home of the Red Bulls (previously the MetroStars) since 1996, will telecast pregame and postgame coverage for all home games the network televises, and pregame shows for all away games it televises.



Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Steve Cangialosi returns for his 13th season as the team’s play-by-play announcer, alongside U.S. soccer legend and former Olympic goalkeeper Shep Messing, now in his 20th season as game analyst. Michelle Gingras also returns for her 3rd season as host and sideline reporter on all game telecasts.


Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn in English and Spanish also returns for a sixth season. Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley return for the English broadcast, while Ernesto Motta provides Spanish play-by-play. The Spanish radio broadcast will also feature as the SAP option for all MSG broadcasts. MSG Networks will televise the Red Bulls’ season opener at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, when the team kick-offs their 2020 campaign versus FC Cincinnati at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Last year, the Red Bulls clinched a postseason berth for the 10th consecutive season, which is tied for the 2nd longest streak in MLS history.


MSG Networks’ full Red Bulls telecast schedule this season can be seen below, which includes seven of the team’s first eight games of the year. Red Bulls games on MSG Networks will also be available for viewing on MSG GO, MSG Networks’ live streaming and video on demand platform for smartphones, tablets and computers.
