The New York Red Bulls wrap up a three-game homestand on Saturday against the Chicago Fire.
Following that game, the team heads to Sporting Kansas City for a game on Wednesday, May 3, then returns home before a trip down the turnpike to take on Philadelphia Union on Saturday, May 6.
As for the Fire game, Head Coach Jesse Marsch knows they can't look past their big game at Red Bull Arena.
"We’ll kind of take it as the first game of the series and put our best team out there," Marsch said. "We’ll have to make some adjustments. We’re getting guys back from injuries at the right time, building up their fitness and making sure that we have a group that is ready to regenerate and go again."
Marsch said that each of the games presents a "different challenge."
Goalkeeper Luis Robles said that the major focus will be on playing the game the right way, then immediately recovering for the next one.
"When you look at the three-game week," Robles said. "It’s going to be about rotation and recovery. You have to get the right guys in there, but you don’t want to overlook anything."
Robles also stressed not getting ahead of themselves.
"We don’t want to look past the task at hand," Robles said. "As soon as the game is over, we’ll recover, we’ll regroup and we’ll figure out how we want to attack Kansas City. But right now, all minds are on Chicago."
