The New York Red Bulls’ 2018 MLS calendar year is set to kick off on Friday, January 19 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center with the 2018 MLS SuperDraft at 11 a.m. ET.

The draft’s Third and Fourth Rounds will be held on Sunday, January 21 via conference call.
This year the Red Bulls have five draft picks at their disposal, including First Round No. 16, Second Round No. 6 (31 overall) and 16 (39 overall), and Fourth Round No. 14 (83 overall) and 16 (85 overall).
New York acquired the No. 6 pick in the Second Round of the SuperDraft from the Philadelphia Union in exchange for the Right of First Refusal for Homegrown Player Adam Najem in February 2017.
The Red Bulls also acquired the No. 14 pick in the Fourth Round of the SuperDraft from Atlanta United FC by way of trading goalkeeper Kyle Reynish to Atlanta in March 2017.
Past Red Bulls SuperDraft selections that are current members of the organization include Stefano Bonomo, Ryan Meara, Jordan Scarlett (NYRB II) and Ethan Kutler (NYRB II).
According to MLSsoccer.com’s Mock Draft v. 1.0, Matt Doyle projects New York to select former Red Bulls U-23 player Brian White with the No. 16 pick in the First Round of MLS SuperDraft.
