The New York Red Bulls advance to the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Championship against Atlanta United FC.
New York topped Columbus Crew SC in the Semifinals, 3-1 on aggregate, to move on.
The two legs of the conference final are set for Nov. 25 and Nov. 29 with the Red Bulls hosting the second leg as the top seed in the East.
New York returns to the Eastern Conference Championship for the first time since 2015, where they fell to Crew SC. The Red Bulls also appeared in the Conference Final in 2014, where they lost to the New England Revolution.
The Red Bulls are continuing an incredible season, where they set the MLS record for most points in a season with 71 as they claimed their third Supporters' Shield in six years.
New York rode a 20 goal campaign from Bradley Wright-Phillips, his third 20+ goal season in MLS, as well as strong showings from their defense and goalkeeper, who combined to post 15 shutouts in 34 matches. Aaron Long was named Defender of the Year, as well as to the league's Best XI with teammate Kemar Lawrence.
