HARRISON, NJ (September 12, 2023) - New York Red Bulls President & General Manager Marc de Grandpré announced today the expansion of the club’s Executive Leadership Team. Joe Stetson has been named Chief Commercial Officer, Elisa Padilla named Chief Marketing Officer, Christina Giunta-Quarino named Chief of Staff and Claire Noonan named Head of Human Resources. Each will report directly to de Grandpré.

Through the additions of Christina, Claire and Elisa, along with Joe assuming this new role, I am confident we are set up for long-term success.”
Joe Stetson joined the club in 2014 as the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and was promoted to Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer in 2018. He will now serve as the Chief Commercial Officer overseeing commercial business including sponsorship/premium sales & services, ticketing sales, service and operations and Red Bull Youth Programs.
Elisa Padilla joins the club with over two decades in sports and entertainment in brand marketing. Experienced in high stakes efforts with high visibility brands, she specializes in strategic marketing that cultivates loyal, community-centric fan bases.
Padilla’s career has taken her across the United States with a diverse background of iconic brands that include the Miami Marlins, Apple, Brooklyn Nets, Barclays Center, HBO and AT&T Mobility, among others. She was behind several award-winning marketing campaigns while with the Nets and Marlins. In her new role, Padilla will oversee the club’s marketing and communications.
Christina Giunta-Quarino returns to the club with 16 years of prior experience with the Red Bulls, where she made her impact throughout many facets of the organization. Most recently, Giunta-Quarino served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications and before that oversaw all community relations, match presentation and field marketing initiatives. In her new role, she will provide the Executive Leadership Team strategic and operational support across the entire organization.
Claire Noonan joins the club with 15 years of experience with talent planning, recruitment, employee relations, leadership coaching, business planning and community building. Most recently, Noonan worked at Sesame Workshop where she was VP, Human Resources. Prior to that, she spent several years at Kate Spade & Company leading HR for the global Kate Spade brand groups during a time of rapid growth and change.
Rounding out the Executive Leadership Team is Jochen Schneider (Head of Sport), Kari Cohen (General Counsel), Denis Hamlett (Sporting Director), Shaun Oliver (Vice President, Operations & General Manager, Red Bull Arena), Logan Smith (Head of Strategy & Analytics) and Luis Garcia Vazquez (Chief Financial Officer). After eight years with the club, Senior Director of Human Resources Deborah Melnick announced that she will retire at the end of the year.
