HARRISON, N.J. (May 28, 2024) – The New York Red Bulls are holding their annual Pride Night on Saturday, June 1 at Red Bull Arena. As the club takes on Orlando City SC, fans can expect an evening filled with pride, inclusivity, and world-class entertainment.
Matchday entertainment will kickoff at the Crossbar, where DJ Boston Chery, a non-binary open format DJ and Producer and a staggering 2.6 million plays on SoundCloud, will get the crowd dancing.
Adding to the excitement, the event will be co-hosted by Milan Garcon, a renowned content creator, on-air personality, model, emcee, influencer, and LGBTQ+ advocate based in New York City. Garcon's insights on fashion, gender, and uplifting the LGBTQ+ community have been featured in prestigious publications like Vogue, Essence, and NYLON.
Right before kickoff, the national anthem will be performed by TONEWALL, the super-charismatic queer a cappella band from the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. With their uplifting anthems, classic tunes, and top hits from today's artists, TONEWALL promotes diversity, LGBTQA+ inclusion, and social equality in a truly memorable way.
New York Red Bulls players will be sporting 2024 pre-match Pride jerseys during warm ups. They were designed by Pabllo Vittar – the jerseys unite adidas classic silhouette with Vittar’s signature style in a color palette that expands beyond the confines of a rainbow flag to signal a new era in Pride-wear.
As a testament to their commitment to the community, the Red Bulls will make a donation to the Hudson Pride Center, a non-profit community-based organization advocating for and providing social services to the LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS communities in New Jersey.
