The New York Red Bulls are set to host New York City FC at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., for the first time in MLS history. This is the first of three fixtures against New York City this season. In addition to this weekend’s match, the Red Bulls will make their first trip to Yankee Stadium on June 28, and Red Bull Arena will hold the final regular season meeting between the New York clubs on August 9. New York seeks to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season, while New York City aims to end a three game losing streak.

Here are some numbers to know ahead of the Derby.


1: This  Sunday marks the first meeting between the Red Bulls and New York City FC. Also, the number of players to have scored for both clubs. Medhi Ballouchy played with the Red Bulls from 2010-2012, and scored four goals. He has struck twice so far this season for the team in blue.


2-0-2: The Red Bulls record at home this season. New York has yet to fall at RBA, and has racked up two 2-0 victories over D.C. United and the San Jose Earthquakes.


3: Number of players to suit up for both organizations. In addition to Ballouchy, Red Bulls goalkeeper Ryan Meara is currently on loan to NYC FC. New York City defender Jason Hernandez was drafted by the MetroStars in the 2005 Supplemental Draft. Hernandez played two years at Seton Hall with Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan, and the two reunited for the 2006 and ’07 seasons with Chivas USA.


4: The Red Bulls +4 goal differential this season is tied for second-best in MLS, behind only Seattle, who earned a decisive 3-1 win over NYC FC last week at Yankee Stadium.


6: Number of players who have scored a goal for New York this season. In all of 2014 nine different players found the back of the net at least once.


11: Combined number of Metro area natives on the two rosters. The Red Bulls have eight (including Ryan Meara) while NYC FC claim three. Four of those eight – Connor Lade, Matt Miazga, Sean Davis, and Santiago Castano – are Homegrown Players that progressed through the Red Bulls Academy system.
