Vincent Bezecourt backed up his phenomenal 2016 campaign with an exquisite 2017 season, earning himself a first team contract and a spot in the 2017 USL All-League Second Team for his season with New York Red Bulls II.
The 24-year-old proved to be the maestro of the Red Bulls II attack this season as he showcased his talent time after time for the team.
Here’s how Bezecourt’s 2017 season looked by the numbers:
1: Bezecourt earned his first MLS assist in his second start of the season on October 22, 2017 against D.C. United. The midfielder appeared in three MLS games for the Red Bulls.
6: While Bezecourt proved to be a provider this season, he also supplied the Red Bulls II team with six goals on the year. With six goals this season, Bezecourt now has 14 goals with the Red Bulls II team over the past two seasons.
11: The Red Bulls II maestro orchestrated team-high 11 assists on the season for the boys in red and white. Those 11 assists were also tied for second-most in the USL for 2017.
30: The Aire-sur-l'Adour native tied for a team-high 30 shots on target with fellow Frenchman Florian Valot. Bezecourt had 49 shots total, making his shot accuracy rate a respectable 61.2% on the season.
59: While not every pass led to an assist, Bezecourt created the most chances for the Red Bulls II team this season. Bezecourt notched a team-high 59 passes on the season, three more than Florian Valot’s total of 56 key passes this season.
