Last week in our return to Red Bull Arena, we inaugurated a section behind the team benches, celebrating our fans and Homegrown Heroes.
For our club, it’s important to make sure to remember their names, many of them have been on the frontlines since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
In the past months, we’ve spoken to many of them to get to know more about their careers, and to also understand the challenges they’ve faced since the pandemic started.
Whether it was transporting patients safely to hospitals to organizing diaper drives and getting them safely to families in need, our Homegrown Heroes have shown us the true meaning of community.
As the players take the field and as they leave to the locker rooms, they’ll be able to read every single one of their names.
