HARRISON, N.J. (June 25, 2015) – Two New York Red Bulls matches will be moving to ESPN, the network announced today. Sunday’s New York Derby between the Red Bulls and expansion side New York City FC will air at 5 p.m. on ESPN as part of “MLS Heineken Rivalry Week”. A 30-minute pre-game show will begin on ESPN prior to the match at 4:30 p.m.
Adrian Healey, Taylor Twellman and Allison Williams will have the call on ESPN.
ESPN Deportes and ESPN Deportes Radio will also carry the match live; radio coverage begins at 4 p.m.
The New York Red Bulls Radio Network will have coverage via NewYorkRedBulls.com in English with Matt Harmon on the call and in Spanish with Ernesto Motta calling the action from Yankee Stadium.
New York won the inaugural New York Derby 2-1 at a sold-out Red Bull Arena behind two goals from Red Bulls forward Bradley Wright-Phillips.
The Sept. 20 match between New York and the Portland Timbers will move from ESPN2 to ESPN. The match will also air on ESPN Deportes.
