Tyler Adams & US U-20s Advance to U-20 World Cup

New York Red Bulls' Tyler Adams and the United States U-20 Men's National Team advanced to the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup with a win over El Salvador on Friday night.


After their 2-1 victory, Adams and the U-20 team advanced to their third CONCACAF U-20 Championship, which will be played on Sunday against Honduras.


If they win, it will be the team's first CONCACAF U-20 Championship.


Adams started on Friday night and played the full 90 minutes under Head Coach Tab Ramos.


The U-20 World Cup is set to take place in Korea from May 20 through June 11, 2017. Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica also qualified from the CONCACAF region.
