The Red Bull Youth Program's Coach Education Team attended the annual United Soccer Coaches Convention in Anaheim, CA to kick off the new year. This is the largest gathering of soccer coaches in the world and a great opportunity to share new ideas and discover trends occurring in coaching.
Our opening classroom presentation was delivered by Senior Regional Manager Steve Jones, who presented on our Red Print for success in Sports, Business, and the Community. Later in the day, Coach Education Manager Juan Figueira delivered a field session centered around Key Performance Indicators and how we can use them at the grassroots level.
On coaching at the convention, Juan Figueira stated “It was great to be able to present on the pitch some of the things we do at Youth Programs in front of so many coaches. As a club, our Coach Education Program is unique and provides coaches with the necessary tools to teach the game at every level.
"The convention is an excellent place for Red Bull to showcase its mission, vision, and values to the wider soccer community"
