Gonzalo Veron had his “best day” of training on Wednesday, according to Head Coach Jesse Marsch.
Veron was subbed out of the team’s CONCACAF Champions League game in Vancouver after just eight minutes.
Veron was later said to have a hamstring issue, causing him to miss the first two MLS games of the season.
“We’re hopeful now that we can progress pretty quickly, so not sure if he’ll be available for the weekend, especially with it being turf,” Marsch said. “But hopefully we’ll be able to progress quickly from here and get him going."
