Kickoff for the match is at 7:30 PM (was originally scheduled for 2:30 but was changed in April) and it will be televised live on NBC Sports Network.
Wednesday marks the first meeting between New York and Montreal in CCL group stage play. Montreal currently leads Group 3 after defeating C.D. FAS twice. New York defeated C.D. FAS on August 26 in its opening game, 2-0, and are currently second in Group 3.
Following Wednesday's match north of the border, New York returns to Red Bull Arena on Saturday for the club's only meeting with Seattle this season. The Sounders are tops in MLS with a 17-7-3 record and 54 points. The two teams last met on September 29, 2013, playing to a 1-1 draw at CenturyLink Field
HENRY BAGS 50TH CAREER MLS REGULAR-SEASON GOAL AT PHILADELPHIA

Thierry Henry scored his 50th career MLS regular-season goal at PPL Park last Saturday in a 2-2 draw with the Union. Henry one-timed a cross from right back Chris Duvall on Saturday that beat Philadelphia goalkeeper Zac MacMath and put the Red Bulls up 2-0.
Henry's 50th goal was his ninth goal this season to go along with his team-leading 12 assists. Henry has made 25 appearances this season, all starts. Henry is currently riding a three-game point streak, scoring two goals and recording one assist during that stretch.
LUYINDULA SCORES HIS FIFTH GOAL OF THE SEASON

Peguy Luyindula opened the scoring on Saturday at PPL Park with his fifth goal of the season and first from the penalty spot. After being taken down inside Philly's 18-yard-box, Luyindula stepped up and converted the penalty to give New York a 1-0 lead.

In 23 appearances (12 starts) Luyindula has scored five goals while adding one assist. Now in his second season with the Red Bulls, the midfielder has scored six goals and added eight assists in 45 total appearances.

ALEXANDER APPROACHING MILESTONE

If Eric Alexander cracks the starting XI against Seattle Sounders FC on September 28, it will mark his 100th career MLS regular-season start. The midfielder, now in his sixth season in MLS and second with New York, has made 131 career appearances with 99 starts.

Alexander is the only player other than Luis Robles to appear in all 28 games for New York this season and is fourth in minutes played among field players.

WRIGHT-PHILLIPS ATOP GOLDEN BOOT RACE, CLIMBING SINGLE-SEASON SCORING LIST

Despite missing last Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Union with a hamstring injury, Bradley Wright-Phillips remained atop the MLS Golden Boot Race with 21 goals. Wright-Phillips' last goal came against Sporting Kansas City on September 6 when he converted from the penalty spot in a 2-1 win. The forward has a two-goal advantage over Sporting Kansas City's Dom Dwyer.

ROBLES SECOND IN MLS IN SAVES

Following a 2-2 draw at Philadelphia last Saturday, Luis Robles remained in second in MLS in saves. Robles turned in a two-save performance, including one save-of-the-week type stop, against the Union in his most recent MLS regular-season action
