The New York Red Bulls control their own destiny on Decision Day.
Win and in. That's the way they'll want to enter the postseason.
But, they can also draw vs. Nashville and punch a ticket to the playoffs. This is especially notable because Nashville hasn't lost at home all year. (In fact, they only have four losses this season -- one of which came against RBNY at Red Bull Arena.)
New York can also find themselves backing into the playoffs.
If RBNY lose to Nashville, they can still continue their season if Montréal loses or draws vs. Orlando and DC loses or draws vs. Toronto and New York win goal differential vs. Columbus.
If New York lose, they can also get in with a Montréal loss or tie vs. Orlando and D.C. loss or tie vs. Toronto and keep a larger goal differential than Columbus.
The Red Bulls and Nashville kick off at 3:30 PM ET on Sunday, November 7, along with the rest of the Eastern Conference on Decision Day.
