The New York Red Bulls Youth Programs recently hosted the 6th Youth Club Summit, which brought together over 60 youth soccer clubs from the tri-state area on Sunday, March 3rd. The one-day summit provided insights and strategies for youth soccer clubs to improve their player development programs and overall operations.
The event was started by our Red Bulls' Director of Youth Programs, David Jervis, who provided the opening address for the summit. The second presentation of the day was delivered by Greig Robertson, who discussed Club Branding and your Digital Footprint. The third presentation of the day was delivered by Blake Decker, who discussed a Player Centered Learning Approach.
The day ended with a panel discussion on Winning and Development – Success at all levels.
The panel discussion participants included:

- Blake Decker- CEO of Cincinnati United SC
- Simon Barrow- Director, Player & Coach Development
From the first team, we also had Davi Alexandre who answered questions about his path through the youth system, and helped us give out some amazing prizes.
Overall, the Youth Club Summit aimed to provide a collaborative space for youth soccer clubs to learn and share best practices for developing the next generation of soccer players in the United States.
